Buffing your entire team (or afflicting all enemies at once) is never a bad thing. Champions who can apply more than one buff or debuff to the ENTIRE team. Removal of buffs is especially important in arena/DT, because it's literally the only way to penetrate Siphi and other mass-buffing cheaters. Cardiel, Ursala, Maneater, Warcaster, Mordecai, Valkyrie, Madame Serris, Psylar, Astralon - they are so powerful because they can do that to the entire team where most champions can only do one target at a time. These include: Counterattack, Ally Attack, HP Burn, Block Damage, Unkillable, Revive on Death, reduce cooldown, remove all buffs, Freeze, Stun, Block Abilities, True Fear. Champions with imbalanced buffs and debuffs that can be applied to the ENTIRE team, not one target. The list of such champions is very well known: if such a champion is mentioned by name in the lists like , it's worth keeping even if you already have a UNM CB team. Fayne specifically, for example, is a downgraded version of arguably the best CB damage dealer of all time: the Dracomorph. Both are quite meh outside CB, mostly due to being squishy but in Unkillable teams, when tankiness is not a concern, they are incredible. Examples are Frozen Banshee (Undead) and Fayne (Skinwalker). Champions that are irreplaceable for UNM Clan Boss. You will literally never even consider them elsewhere, but in FW, they are your secret weapon. But since they are the only realistically available revivers within their respective factions, they are game-changers within that specific FW routine. They are not god-tier and will not earn their place outside FW at all. Examples are Melga Steelgirdle (Dwarf) and Hoforees the Tusked (Skinwalker). C hampions that are irreplaceable or immensely good WITHIN THE FACTION. Thus, champions that are worth keeping can be broken down into several categories. I may have missed something I don't have yet. Please let me know if you think anything else should be included. ![]() ![]() I also include the short list of my own MVP (IMHO) and a list of links where you can see these lists for yourself. Early Faction Wars get hit by this a lot. of the 5 champions in the team, 1-2 may be there just so you don't go in 3. Of the remaining 20%, about 15% are champions you will only use until you literally have nothing else. In fact, you don't NEED to keep all the champions, since realistically you won't use them that often, and about 80% of them you will NEVER use. Well, first of all, what you likely already know: you can't keep everything. It's never an easy question, and asking about every single champion is perfectly normal. This is the problem every new player encounters once in a while, and I decided to summarize all I learned in one post, hopefully to help people who are just beginning to amass champions.
